spare motor bogging

Ok here is the problem I installed my spare motor yesterday and my regular carb setup, whenever I give it gas all it does is bog down but it idles perfectly. I have no idea where to start carbs are new, motor has 10hrs from last year and ran great, fresh gas. Also it spurts the gas upwards in the carbs and backfires sometimes.

701 62t/61x
dual 48mm blackjacks (new)
protec intake w spacer (new)
Vforce 2 reeds (new)
Factory Type 4
61x electronics RAD flywheel
timing advanced 3
R&D rec head
Think it might be the timing but I'm looking for a few more options just incase it's not. Thanks guys for any help!!

if it is blowing back through the carb, check the reeds
could also be a timing issue

reeds are new Oh and 1 more thing I have dual fuel pumps but only 1 pulse line so 1 pump is blocked off on one carb

check em anyway to rule them out

Reeds are good and I adjusted the timing back to normal dead nutz on!!! No more backfiring but past 1/4 throttle it boggs really bad. Could it be a fuel problem? I have 1 pulse line going to the back carb or should it go to the main carb? 1 fuel in t'd off to both carbs and my return t'd to the tank.

so only one pump is pulling fuel?
why not put a second pulse line in or atleast a tee

i run dual pumps with one pulse line. its T'ed to hit both and mine runs great. i also have 2 in from tank one to each carb. and the return is T'ed to the tank.

I think I'm going to try that Rags because now it's running fine but dieseling at WOT

eeehhhh man that sounds dangerous. i was worried about it until i got it in the water and it seems to be just fine. of course optimal would be to drill the case for another line, but i didnt want to do that just yet since my engine was already assembled. let me see if i have a pic.

I got it thanks guys it runs perfect now. I kinda thought my pulse lines were alot of the problem. But my waveraider 38's run like that so I figured it would be ok. Now time to water test my spare motor:fingersx: I love having spare motors but it's always extra work.
