what about ES in stock head... yeah!! I bet that will increase compression a bit and put the spark right in the middle of the combustion*...BRAAAP

I once bought a ski with a protec head, and the HS instead of ES plugs in it, it was damn nearly impossible to start, and ran really crappy.

if you ever have that head off, and look at where the spark happens with the HS plugs you will understand.

Use the ES plugs in the taller protec head for sure.

Get the NGK BR8ES Solid Tops as recommended above.

NGK Part Number 3916 - I bought a case of them yesterday.

Get your own!

As everyone else mentioned before, get the BR8ES, solid tops, and don't hesitate to change them as needed. A plug can serve for a season or can get fouled in a few minutes.
BTW, just from my personal preference, if one plug is fouled, change both, easier to keep track on, they are like a $1 each if you buy in bulk.
