I've ridden with the enhancer allready and like it alot. Never realized how often the limiter was kicking in when not needed.
The pipe is in, the carbs are re-jetted. Heading to the spot in the A.M. to get it dialed in tight. Also closed the front airholes, opened up the back ones a bit. From here on out it's just "low-budget" mods for a while. But if you watch the featured vid...that guy is rolling etc.. with a 650, a hooker and modest mods...on flatwater.
I've got no excuse with what I've got......with waves....
Here we go!

EDIT: sorry, it's not the "featured vid" . It's "Team insane Videos" in pics and vids. OOPS!

I've got a couple of ground down wrenches. One open end for B-pipe and one box end for R&D and dry pipes.

I've got a notched flathead screwdriver for a battery strap too.

And a bent driveshaft for a coupler removal tool.

Scott has a plate that bolts to the cases that holds the rod in place so you can pull the coupler off the engine side.

I usually grind the inside of the worthless 11mm wrench to fit a 12mm bolt and then modify that. I made an impeller tool out of a chunk of pipe with notches cut in the end and a 3/4" nut welded to the other end a couple weeks ago to remove a Solas imeller from a 440. I also made my own FW puller, 1 hole in the middle with a bolt pushing against the crankshaft and 3 that match up to the threaded holes in the FW.

How many have ground down a perfectly good 12mm open end wrench to tighten the upper/inner two screws to install a Factory B-pipe manifold?

How many have cut a 12mm open end wrench in half to remove/install dual carbs in order to get more than an 1/8 of a turn at a time?

I've done these things. Wondering what other creative tools are out there!

I have the ground down 12mm for the FP manifold as well as a notched screwdriver for battery straps and a few other "custom" tools I use, however I haven't cut down a 12mm for the carb screws yet- I better get with the program HAHA
