what is so special about a super jet opposed to a 750 sx or sxi pro? no matter what any kawi rider post everybody on here always makes some dumb comment like..."get a super jet" wow does yamaha brain wash all of you?:rocketwhore: do you get paid to endorse yamaha? so someone tell me what are the differences? please explain to me in some term other than "go buy a superjet"

SXIPro

Lighter, better bottom end, they don't porpoise like a mofo like the SXIPros do.

I've owned both. I ride for fun. I have much more fun on the SJ. That pretty much sums it up for me.

Lighter, better power, better hull material, way lighter handlepole, no tubes to deal with when installing footholds, more stable, tons more aftermarket parts available.

I had a SXi for over 6 years with all kinds of mods before finally switching, and it was crazy how much stronger the SJ was with (at the time) only limited mods compared to my mod SXi.

You personally just need to ride a kawi then ride a yami and you will be able to tell why the yami is so much better for freestyle. Stock for stock.

I was wondering if there was a problem on my sxi pro when I used to have one. I would be going 25-30 mph and be bouncing like a kid on crack.

Best thing I ever did was sell that damn thing.

it's not just the superjet. the blaster is special too... or is it that kawi's just aren't as good. :tomato:

if you're going to ride a kawi and it's not an sxr you're going to dump a lot of time and money trying to get it to ride as well as a superjet.

even the 650 squarenose boat I had was an UPGRADE in power to the 750sx it replaced. the 750sx had a pipe, head, impeller and MSD enhancer too.

the 650 was WAY stronger with just a pipe and head.

I sure wish I got paid. This isn't some vast conspiracy, it's just that the SJ is better (for what most of us do) than any Kawi skis.

I've ridden just about every standup ever made, and I will take a SJ over any Kawi, any day.
The Octane is sweet, too, but too heavy.

This is a fair assessment, but the part in red cannot be simply overlooked either,it all boils down to what you are doing with the ski and what your skill level is.If you are just riding and jumping waves any standup will suffice,if you are going for big tricks and big airtime you will need big power and light weight and the Kawi platform really isn't the most ideal candidate for that. That being said my skill level does not justify me buying a Superjet at this time. :burnout:

Um ok... my friend had a 750 SX and a 650 SN. I must say the SN was pretty weak. My modded 650 Kawie would eat it up. Hard to see a modded 750 be weaker than a 650 SN. Might have been a tuning issue with the 750,

I am a Kawie guy and I am reluctant to switch. Mainly because all of the performance parts I own are for a Kawie. But I will say that YZ250FPilot's 701 RN flat out rips off teh bottome end. I wouldn't be a too die hard Kawie lover to put an engine liek that in my X2!

I will say this, Kawasaki has Yamaha beat on the pump/driveline maintenance side of things. Heck I never worry about shimming engines of pumps. Just bolt it in and go!

Ever work on a 440 driveline? Yuck.
