Speedwerx pipe question

I have a speedwerx pipe on my SJ. I had to put a new flywheel pipe mount on. After putting it on I now have to push the rubber mount over to get the pipe bracket to line up with the rubber mount. I loosened up the top 2 mounts but it did not seem to make a difference in lining up the flywheel mount. Will this mount be ok this way or should I also loosen up the coupler and try to get the to line up better?

Mine was the same way I just left it and bolted it all up. The flywheel bracket held the pipe to the outside and the head mounts held it towards the center line of the ski so they counter acted each other and held the pipe tight. :fingersx:

you not want any of the lord mounts to have to be "Forced" over to bolt up, slot the brackets until you can put the studs or bolts directly into the lord mount without having to "Push" the mount over. IF you do this then the chances of burning an oring or coupler are greatly reduced.

I got mine to fit dead on without slotting the holes. I just like the b pipes. Don't get me wrong this is a great pipe. Pulls like a mother.

I installed my pipe with the engine out so you can see exactly how the pipe fits in the manifold and how it aligns then drop it in the ski. And with everything bolted down it fit perfect. I only replaced couplers and o rings every other year. But it was more a precaution than a need. Best pipe I ever owned.

And X2ryder is your a race or freestyle?

Well I have a 5mm stroker, 85.5 bore, 185psi blowsion head and a 13/18 3mm cutback X prop. Along with a Blowsion pump stuffer. I would say more race. I have been told you can make a b pipe work well for top end.

I meant is the pipe a race version or a freestyle version. Have you tried any other pipe with that motor. How does it hit. I am sure Hard as Hell. I have an ada motor 5mm stroke with a 86mm bore running a 13/16 5mm cut back concord prop with a 85mm nozzle. I don't ever plan on my motor seeing over 6000 RPM so I don't need a race pipe. I want low end but I hate the b pipes. They are like azzholes everybody has one.
