Need to remove my Solas prop and looking for some tools locally. Anyone able to get them off without the "special" tools?

You can hold the driveshaft with a pipe wrench close to the impeller. It will leave some small marks in the shaft that won't be an issue.

I think they'll work assuming the set comes with the correct size/diameter.... I have the C-man spline box end wrench set and it works so don't see those not working.

But IMO the actual one made for it is best as it lets you bite down on it with a vise vs. holding two wrenches.

Either way, $10 for more tools isn't a lose situation for most of us.

I looked into it some more and I would have needed an 18mm socket. The set comes with 17 and 19... I ended up finding the tools I needed on amazon with free shipping for much less money then any jetski specific place.
