Spring Ride!!!!!!

Allatoona landing is by far the most chilax campground on any lake. It's hard to camp at Lanier with a single site and jet skis without getting hassled on the water, or at night camping. It's hard to be ole run down 'toona landing.

I'll actually be able to ride a ski by then so I'm definitely in! Lanier or Allatoona is fine with me.

If anyone wants a large deep lake then Lake Martin (not to be confused with Lake Logan Martin) stretches about 20-30 miles and some of the wider areas are around 150 ft deep. I've seen some pretty big boats out there for a lake. The problem is it's quite a drive from Atlanta and I have no idea what the camping situation there is.

Shoal Creek camp ground is on Lanier and is not a core park and has no DNR on the property. It is owned by Lanier islands and you can have all the beer you want . I ride out there every week and have never been stopped by DNR. Way more fun than Altoona by far lots of big wakes!!

Awesome, I never knew that.

I normally have a big camp out on my birthday April 18-21 if anyone is interested in coming out to ride that weekend. There are cruzers up to 60 feet on the lake

From 2002-2006 We use to have a few rides a year up at Jetski Cove. And Camp across the lake. Nothing like a late friday afternoon sunset session behind the 42' Bertrams. Nothing like cranking a nose stab 10'+ and landing in smooth water. Like landing in Milk!!!!!!!!

I rode at jet ski cove a few times last year but the DNR was all over us walking the beach and looking in our cups and coolers . We never have that problem at Shoal Creek. And it’s only a 10 minute boat ride to LandSharks for good food and drinks. My boat holds 16 and I will have it out there.
