I'm using stock waveraider stuff cause its what I had lying around when I had tom start the build. I have a bunch of different sets of bars here to try, but I'm probably just going to use stock raider steering.

the build is linked in my sig.

Sick....just sick....

Rode my ski with this hood for the first time today. 4-6 footers but I think they got a little bigger by the second gas tank. more like 6-7's

Wayyy cooler than I had expected. Rolls were easier than ever. My first one I did 1 and a half. Threw it like I was on my RN pole ski. This hood makes my rotations so much faster.

Carving waves and re-entry's are a whole other game now and feel a lot more fun.

I feel like chucking a backflip might be easier on this too, but I only had a stock hood latch on it today so I didn't want to rip that sucker off. Must wait until I get a ratchet strap setup made.

Video should follow unless the camera batteries died too early.

LOL I knew you would like it! As for the hood latch, I'm keeping the stock one and adding 2 ratchets 1 on each side of it.

Those bars look sooooo ugly but I guess they get the job done. You need to try something with alittle up kick to them, they feel much better. Fly mini bars are $20 go to any dirt bike shop pick up a pair and give that a try, come with bar pad and everything.

Having the ends bent down changes the feel. The Fly bars are a cheap way ($20ish) to find what you like then go and spend the $60+ on alum bars.

i have a wcf fixed steer rn that we have ben working on and off. the tom21 hood is made way better. i like the fact that it uses blaster/gp steering. the x2 stuff is to hard to find and it wont take much of a beating before it bends up. the inside liner is very nice with a nice opening to work with.i just sold my last blaster umi set up figures.

I planned on changing out the stock steering setup if i liked the hood. Didn't want to dump a bunch of money in to it originally if I didn't like it. I kinda liked the way the bars were riding yesterday though. Got used to it in a few minutes. I guess if they went up forward more it wouldn't bother me either though.

It was funny how much it looked like the x2 when i parked it next to it.

Either way the ski was a blast and I will definitely keep it in the fleet but no way am I going to stop riding the RN pole ski.

I'm just happy it handles like a superjet. It seems like it will rip around a set of buoys too... laying it over in the flat was easy. Hooked up great too with a stock pump and wetwolf cone.

YES!!!!!! haha I love it! all the work is so worth it when I get to hear ride reports like that. On Wahoo1's hood we did straps and installed them on the liner in the breather area. out of the way and keeps it looking clean. I have GOT to get my hoods done so I can ride!!!!! aargggh.
