Im new to the site, this is probably a dumb question but trying to figure out compression issues and a lot of guys are telling me to do a squish test... what is that?
to combine everything said above. Bend solder in an L shape and make sure that it goes all the way to the cylinder wall from the spark plug hole. when testing make sure the solder is parallel and directly above the wrist pin. only spin or crank the engine over a few times. measure the flattened end of the solder with a micrometer or a caliper. Good setting is .045 + or - .005.
