Blaster Stage's 1994 blaster yamaha 1100 build

Decided to swap a yamaha 1100 long block into my modded 701 blaster.

been working on build for roughly 3-4 weeks. Should be putting the final touches to her here in the next week or two hopefully.

I went with the new version Extreem throttle conversion plate with Rhass motor mounts.

Custom painted blaster with jettrim seat. Currently running low bars with shock steer stem.


had to cut down one rib to make plates fit

Im still struggling getting this freaking PTO coupler off


In case I wanna put ski back to stock I decided to leave old exhuast outlet and just make a temporary block off plate.

I just installed Left waterbox today but I have to finishing plumbing all the hoses for it.

Then lastly Ill have to test fit the long block. Motor is all stock except for the Prok arrestors and primer kit. If I like the boat then in time Ill lighten the flywheel and mill the head. Depending on the hook up Ill debate if a solas mag is needed

why dual waterboxes?
what kind of carbs are you planning to run, CV?

raider 1100 ran both these so im just duplicating what stock was... plus Theres another member that did same thing with his 1100 build

Just stock tripple 38s... theres a set of tripple 44s w/protec intake on ebay but Im not in rush to upgrade carbs

Had to use an air chissel to get coupler off.. blaster coupler now installed

Im very happy Im allowed to build this thing at work cause cherry picker is major back saver.

Had to trim away few more ribs in hull and gonna test alignment of motor and where to drill 4in hole for 1100 exhuast outlet thro hole.



Oil block installed n went with throttle drum to ease cable adjustment

That Nozzle will suck...I tried it on my 1200...cut the center vane out as well...it still steered like crap. It will make turning a chore...finally wound up with 701 surf nozzle...you gonna love the Giddy up these Ski's have with the 1100/1200 motors....
