any body running stainless steel barbed fittings on there pipes/heads? if so whered you get em? or is everyone jus runnen brass?

barbed fittings. i wanted 90's. i beleive the threads are 3/8. and cooling line slippen on is 3/8 inside diameter. grainger only has straights

thanks zero, think i found it on tri states but there sayin 3/8 barb, 3/8 mpt. i emailed em an asked if the threads are really 3/8. that pipe thread crap skrews up everything an is confusing

3/8" npt is actually about .65" OD, 1/4" npt is about .5" OD, and 1/8" npt is about .38" OD

You have to remember, the size of the thread is because the INSIDE of the pipe or fitting is what it's named after.
