Stand UP Lift Options

For all those who live on a lake, what are you using for lifts?

I am ideally looking for a dock mounted style lift, that i can mount to my deck, and lift vertically out of the water.

Such as:

http://www.boatliftwarehouse.com/boat_lifts/demco/1000_lil_lifters.php

or

https://www.boathoistdirect.com/product/shorestation-ss-1053-ds-pwc-dock-hoist/

But both are expensive options. Used, they are hard to find. Likewise, I would not prefer to get a large PWC lift, just to lift my stand up.

Are there any cheap home made designs you guys have seen? looking for ideas.

Thanks!

I have 2. They're an I beam post with the ski bunks connected to a manual cable winch at the top. Fairly simple and it connects to my dock. They were about a grand each (cost more than they're worth for sure) but its nice to completely keep skis out of water. I don't have a good pic on my phone but here's a partial view of one of them. The other holds my stand-up.

Interesting. Similiar concept to others I have seen, but more simple.

Do you know which brand they are?

Other ideas Ive had, is drive a wood post into the ground (4x4 perhaps) then attach it to my deck. It's a wood deck over my seawall. Where I live we dont get much iceflow, so our deck, lifts stay in the water.

With the post I was going to attach a swivel bracket about 3 inches above the high water mark, and then just unlock the swivel bracket, angle the bunks into the water, and slide the SJ up and down the bunks.

THen when its time to put away, push up the bunks, rotated the swivel/ski parallel and above the water.

Thoughts?

Thanks

This is what I have right now.. just a cheap single lift currently set up for 2 skis... going to be building a new floating aluminium dock with jetski lift built in..
