What's out there for convenient ideas/hacks for securing a ski on a trailer quickly and securely without banging it up?
Bow stops? Locks? What ya got?

I am also wonder this. Trying to figure out how to trailer my new Rickter Edge. I was wondering if anyone has used 2x6 as bunks then cut them to match the camber of the ski. I was thinking if the bunks were curved to make the ski it would be more stable and stress the ski less when tied down. I may try this with @Wet Dreams dream strap on the front. Still haven't figured out how to secure the tail though.
Oh ya, I don't know how people do a bow stop for aftermarket hulls. I'll never have the money for one so that's something I'll never have to worry about lol.I've been looking online to figure out how to incorporate a bow stop for aftermarket hulls but prices seem stupid for the poles to mount them on and options limited.
I designed this, (on a napkin) for my Rickter FR-2 EVO and had a friend of mine weld it up. It takes 2 seconds to hook the ski up. I bought the bow stop at west marine. Part #12875357 $16.49View attachment 313704 View attachment 313705 View attachment 313706
I had tabs welded on my trailer and use a ratchet strap on the rear. What are you doing to secure the rear? Those both look awesome I am definitely going to do something like that.
Pool noodle with a ratchet strap holds down the back well for me.
Where did you find a Tiffany blue pool noodle? Did Rosie hook you up?
So you're the guy who stole one of my noodles at the Dells??????I just used one I couldn't fit in the engine compartment.
What blue is that looks killer.
