What's out there for convenient ideas/hacks for securing a ski on a trailer quickly and securely without banging it up?

Bow stops? Locks? What ya got?

I am also wonder this. Trying to figure out how to trailer my new Rickter Edge. I was wondering if anyone has used 2x6 as bunks then cut them to match the camber of the ski. I was thinking if the bunks were curved to make the ski it would be more stable and stress the ski less when tied down. I may try this with @Wet Dreams dream strap on the front. Still haven't figured out how to secure the tail though.

Bow stops are a must IMO. I'll never have a trailer without one.

If you use my Dream Strap on the front I would recommend using my ratchet version. I use the cam version on the back of my personal skis because I like that style more but that's because I have a bow stop on the front. The ratchet version will synch the ski down a lot more.

Pic for others who don't know what strap we are talking about. They are 20% off right now through August 1.

I've been looking online to figure out how to incorporate a bow stop for aftermarket hulls but prices seem stupid for the poles to mount them on and options limited.

Oh ya, I don't know how people do a bow stop for aftermarket hulls. I'll never have the money for one so that's something I'll never have to worry about lol.

Strap over the tray and to tie down points or bunk brackets for the rrp due to the nozzle being in the way. SJ just fed thru the tow loop on the back.

I made a couple of these a few days ago for a buddy and I so We stop ruining turf in the rear and the paint in the front. I'm not much of a welder but they have held up lol

I use the Just Straps lever over transom straps that are made here in Australia. You fit the strap over the rear of your hull slightly short of tensioned. You then pull the lever up and over. It will snap shut and cannot lose tension. The only way it can come undone is by physically pulling the lever back at least 90 degrees.

The straps are 2 inches wide to help spread the load over your turf/painted hull. I go one step further and run the optional slide-over padding for more protection. Simple and effective.

I don't know if you have something similar on your side of the pond?IMG_20160731_120339349.jpg IMG_20160731_120420776_HDR.jpg
