Stand-up trailer question....

How do you guys keep your handpole down when you are trailering besides a cover? I used to drape a tie-down over it with my old ski, but I just got a new SXR and I don't want to mess up the paint. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I use a short bungy cord hooked on the handle bar and then down to under the bond flange.

I've made up a few different ones over the years and am currently using the shortest ones that came in a multi pack I bought at Walmart for $5. They don't have to be very strong at all, just find one with the hook large enough to fit on the handle bar. The ones from walmart have plastic coated hooks so they don't marr the bar or rust.

like these ones...http://www.etrailer.com/p-9008600.html

Not to Thread Jack, but does anyone know where to buy the Pin Lock things that go through the bow eye, holding the ski in the trailer. I bought a trailer and it dosnt have any and I need 2. Been looking but cant find any. Help?

Stiff pole or tie down strap over tray ledge near hood to each side of trailer, the extra strap tail end - tie or wrap around actual bars..no damage or scuffs!
