Stand Up world record

OK so I was looking around at the Guinness world record and the farest distanced traveled on a sit down in 24 hours is 604.6 miles thats pretty crazy
so what about on a stand up that would be sickk
I bet someone could make 100 miles
I wanna get in better shape and give it go and see if theyll except it as a record and if they even let someone try.

ya bro. i will support you it would get good coverage with some pics in the book and such. i would try it but i dont think its possible to go 100 miles on a michigan inland lake haha.

Go for it. If you ever watched Rob and Big they broke some world records and they needed some one from Guinness to come out and watch it take place for it to valid.

Dude you can go a LOT more than that. When we had the JAM at lake cumberland there were a few of us standup riders that done the poker run on standups. It was a 65 mile course and we we back by 2 or 3 in the afternoon ate a late lunch and went back out riding.

I don't know the mileage but I rode the poker run and then we rode to 76 falls that evening and got back around dark. So I bet It was every bit 100 miles and it was for fun chasing boats mostly

Yeah dude you can do way more than a 100 miles in 24 hrs. I rode my Super Jet from Oceanside to Catalina Island which is like 57 miles in around 5 hrs. I could have done it in half that time also accept the chase boat could only go about 12mph. If you were to average only 17mph (which of course is very slow) then 17mph x 24 hrs= 408 miles in a 24 hr period

Ride from PR to Daytona for the long distance record. Then Guinness can have the largest stand up freeride for the books too.

I have just been discusing with the 2 lads i go razzing about with, the idea of circumnavigating our island, The isle of skye. Without going into the many sea lochs its about 120 miles. Was thinking of doing it for charity, our main hospitals raising money for a new chemo unit. Never thought about the possibility of a world record! That would be so sweet!! Thanks guys.

its like about 300 miles or something i got to email the WOrld record book do you think theyll consider it a world record
and do you think some one would sponser it like get some gear for the trip?

If you are going to do this you should try to borrow, rent, steal, whatever, the highest pitched prop you can find so that if you get nice smooth water you can really rip it so you can log a more miles.
