Standup hull options in 2021

In an attempt to try and figure out what hulls are out there currently (and what you might be able to still find used), I put together this chart of some of the hulls more frequently talked about here.

My goal is to find a hull that falls mostly in the center of this chart for a new hull. I tried to create a way to classify the hulls based on their intended use - criticism is welcome so I can fine tune it! Never found anything like this online so figured I'd make one to start with and maybe help others out in my same quest to find 'the right hull for them'.

I'd say the predator and sv pro are excellent for the surf but not at all for flatwater or bouy racing. They are both more surf only skis. The badass from what I've read is a good all around ski. Some of these skis will be better at one than the other based on what combo they're running. Ex- you're most likely not flat water flipping a edge with less than 900cc's

Also according to your chart, team twangled makes all the skis haha.

If you’re willing to make a change… perhaps preceed each name with a unique glyph, like a dot • so it’s easy to see where to start reading.

Otherwise, nice work.

I'm trying to keep the manufacturer's names as recent as possible - it seems that Twangled bought the molds of a few of the more popular skis of the late 2010's and now manufactures them - so if you want to buy a recent or new A/M standup ski hull in 2021 - this chart would give you an idea of who to call based on your preference.

The chart on the first post has been updated to reflect most of the comments - keep 'em coming - this is just a living document so edits are easy!

Okay.... The greatest variance between A/M hulls is their length from the center of gravity to the rear edge. Width of the bottom is closer, its easy to measure and should also be noted. Driveshaft length???? The way they turn is difficult to measure and will always be subjective. Riders are different sizes and they often ride different ways so hull and pole length are important. As it is, everything is 100% subjective.

Feel free to start working on gathering all those data points and we can add them to the chart!

Seems at this point that the chart is close to being generally accepted. I'll continue to update as people who have experience with the hulls provide feedback - speculative feedback won't really help anyone in the future if they look at this.
