StarBar Pole Feed Back

"Star Bar".... that sounds so gay. Looks like something Gil would have on his ski.

The top doesn't look adjustable to me....unless you can cut the tubes easily. I can't begin to tell on the bottom.

It my look like a rip of the RRP pole, but you have to remember there were a lot of other twin tube designed pole made at home by other people....RRP weree prob just the firt ones to mass produce and patent the part.

I'd like to know the weight of the SB pole versus the RRP pole.

weight is 4.7kg so for you guys that makes it 10 pounds.

I've seen them and they look nice. Price wise it's also a lot cheaper than RRP at least for EU customers.

Maybe, but this one is adjustable and looks very nice. Many people do not have the knowledge or resources to make their own...this seems like a nice option for those who cannot afford an RRP.

im in Aus, and the pole, chinpad, turnplate and bars cost $1500. the rrp pole alone is about $1300 i think. The length is adjustable by putting these big washer things in between the tubes and brackets. but they're ugly and heavy so im running without. i've only ridden with the pole for mayb an hour in total but it seems good, certainly strong and light, and looks real nice.

i paid $660 for my RRP ... Brand new.... easy to fit, easy to adjust, personally even if it was more expensive id say its worth it, very well put together

you get what you pay for, many knock offs, plus the home made ones...

My buddy runs one on the SXR. He had to fabricate an extra plate to keep the pole from over extending for he does not run a limit rope. He seems to like it and it does look nice.
