Start/Stop Switch Installation Issue

Hey guys,

Took my ski apart over a year ago to paint. Went to put it back together and I can't seem to figure out how to get the start/stop switch to sit flush. I made a video that should help describe my issue.

Thanks!

There should be a hole on the underside of the bars for the nub to fit into. It's to prevent the switch from rotating on the bar. Water will get inside the switch no matter what. yes the hole is for drainage.

ahhh that makes so much sense! Since its aftermarket that handle pole thats why I am having the issue. U think I should drill a small hole to fit that nub?

Looks to me like youre just trykng to install it on the bend. Slide it over to the left nextto your grip and see if it works. I have stock switch, aftermarket bars, and rotate my switch any way i like. I dont remember modifying the switch in anyway.

I tried sliding it up and down the bar with no luck. Yeah I have a little dremel I'll just sand it down maybe throw a bead of silicon around it to help. Thanks guys, feel like a noob asking these questions. Once this is done it will be the first time my girl and I will have ever gotten to ride together. One of ours is always F$% broke..

I asked this same question before when switching bars. Everyone says to grind the plastic nub off but i just drilled a new hole in the bar the same size as the hole on the old bar. Peace of mind believe the nub is there to keep switch from turning on the bars. Not very hard to measure where you want switch to go with grips on for you to drill hole.
