SX/SXi/SXi Pro start stop switch issues

Anyone have a problem with the ski not shutting off after taking on water? I took the ski out this weekend and test rode it. I noticed after doing a sub and taking on some water that the kill switch stopped working, it did this last season too a few times. i tried to clean out the switch and 4 pin connector and also put dialectric grease on them but it still happens. It will run with the lanyard out. After a few minutes of riding it will start working again. Any ideas? maybe just need a new switch?

U can take apart the switch and clean it also ......
Butt I had the same issue and it steady got worse until I really cleaned the four pin connector at the e-box.

Ya, I've cleaned both the switch and the connector out

Bring the ole voltmeter with ya. Then you could at least see if it's the switch or not.

If you can rule out the switch you may have a broken wire?
