Super Jet Start stop switch not working

Just picked up my first superjet (finally converted over to the dark side) anyways my s/s switch does not want to kill the engine, even when the lanyard is pulled. I opened the switch up and it's clean as a whistle on the contacts. So I then unhooked the first plug down by the elec box and it was fairly clean. I can kill the ski if I ground out the white wire down at the plug. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Also the ski is a 94 701.

Just turn your idle down low so it dies out.

Inspect the harness for a broken wire, particularly in the pivot area where it comes out of the handpole and into the hull fitting.

Found the problem, turns out the previous owner did some hack job underneath the chin pad and it had a broken wire. Works like a charm after I re-wired it.
