Blaster starter just spinning and clunking.

I have the front cover off, but i dont know if im going about getting the big bolt off the fly wheel. I tryed ratcheting it off but it just turns the whole gear counterclockwise and then kinda feels like it gets stuck. i dont want to put too much force into it and ruin somehing. on a posiitve note i pulled the bendix up into the gear for the flywheel and tryed a quick press of the starter and it cranked the machine so i feel a little better at least. there may be hope

I got the bolt off, not im going to use the harmonic balancer

Put the bolt back in but half way then use the harmonic balancer on bolt I needed a rattle gun to get mine off once fly wheel loose take bolt out

Got it off, the Bendix is shot. Took it apart and the spring inside is broke.. Ordered a new bendix from Ebay. I NEED IT BY FRIDAY MORN for this get together at the lake of the ozarks if anyone here can ship one to Missouri so that it gets here by thurs friday, I'll cancel my order and buy yours!!!! Anyone Want to make my week?

Just make sure the one you buy is OEM and not an aftermarket one.

I got the Bendix in this morning, put it on. I put every thing back together. I Tryed the starter button and she turned over!. Took it to George winter park and put it in the water, everything went well. Thanks for all your help!
