Starting issues on a 650

Ok, so the ski has ran perfect all summer, until this last week. I changed the plugs, BR8HS - NGK marine. ever since then it has been a pain to start. it won't fire most times. but other times it will fire up within a second of pushing the start button. for example, today it started up perfect, didnt even need to use the choke, rode it for 20-25min, turned it off, and then it wouldnt start again. let it sit for a bit, and it started right up like nothing was wrong. no idea whats going on with it, so any ideas or help would be great.

If you still have them, put the old spark plugs in and see what happens. If changing the plugs was the only thing you did to result in the starting problem...could be a loose boot/wire connection that was made worse by changing the plugs. Kind of unlikely though.
Was there an issue that made you want to put in new spark plugs?

i put in a new set of plugs because the others were old and corroded. and i figured no it was time for a fresh set.

I haven’t tried putting the old ones back in and starting. i’ll give that a try tonight
