Super Jet Steering Cable help

Hey guys,

Please help me here, Im probably being stupid but kinda lost at the moment,

I have a brand new cable that I would like to install into a hull I bought, I have a new cable and the new plastic nut and little C clip+ washer/rubber which I got from Jetmaniac,

I do not understand how I should thread the white plastic nut onto the ski? See attached photo, am I missing a part or something?

Yep, you're missing the externally threaded tube that needs to be glued into that hole.

Found it ! My bad , do I just screw it in with the rubber gasket or should I glue it aswell?

I believe it was glued in originally? I used 5200 to make sure it holds in place after mine started loosening up after taking that white nut off many times. . You don't want it loosening up, because if you go to loosen that white plastic nut and the threaded tube/insert starts twisting, it makes taking that plastic nut off even more of a nightmare. Maybe someone else will chime in, but that's just my experience.

No they just screw in at least my 03 did.

I just know you don't want it coming loose. It's annoying when it unscrews when you're trying to get the plastic nut off
