Super Jet Steering cable help

I am installing a steering cable and am having trouble figuring it out. There is a rubber piece, a plastic washer that comes apart and a metal washer. What order do these go in and where do they go on the cable? Does anyone have any pictures. It seems the way I installed it that it doesnt steer evenly.

Dang, I just swapped cables last week. I was going to take photos, but I got lazy.

BTW, leave your chnipad off for the first ride, so that if you need to adjust the steering, one less thing to take off while ski is in the water.

you will definitely need to "fine tune" your steering after replacing the cable.

From the hull tube side
rubber grommet
plastic snap ring
washer
retaining nut.

where does the plastic snap ring go? In the little groove behind the bigger rubber piece on the cable?

yup, also make sure the longer of the two sides for the cable is the pump side, you will need to adjust the top and bottom to get your steering right
