Super Jet Steering cable length???

Can someone please tell me the length of a RN 96-07 superjet steering cable and also the length of an 08-10 superjet steering cable so I can figure out which cable I have.

I don't know that the length is necessarily different, but the 96-08 cable has 4" of travel. The +08 cable has less than that.

I bought a steering cable from someone on the forums and they said it was OEM, but it was way too short. I think it might be from a Kawasaki.....

pre 08 Rn cable is 122 with 4 in throw
fx-1 cable is 116 in with 3 in throw

So it turns out I bought a cable from a kid on the forum and when it didn't work, his story changed to - "Oh its from a 95 superjet and they were different that year, and it was too short for me so thats why I sold it"

So I removed it this morning and what do you know... there was a part number on it... and it turns out to be a Kawasaki 750 SX cable all along.

So now I've PMed him and given him several chances to refund me and make it right before I blast him all over both forums. We'll see what happens.

I have a 93 oem cable nib and it's "throw" measures 4.1", like the rn's. Don't know what to make of that.

About 3" longer than a rn cable. That is why I use them. All my skis have stock lenght handle poles and it keeps the cable from chafing hard against the water box outlet.

If you mean 08-up, no. They have that short, useless FX1 throw

Ya my 2012 SJ's throw is awful.
