FX-1 steering cable too short?????

I put an ac aluminum pole with a TBM turnplate and the steering cable is like 1/2" to 3/4" too short. Can I modify the bracket to extend the steering cable or do I have to get a round nose cable....

they make extension pieces, they screw right onto the cable. i dont know the exact thread or what its called, but if you want an instant response, pm bonzai bob.

what cable do you have?my cable is about 3/4in too long!
