Steering cable?

Will a waveraider steering cable work on a waveblaster without modification. Tried it on my sj a while back didnt work. Trying to save time and effort of trying, anyone know? Thanks

I put a raider cable into my maxx while I was waiting for a new one, threads are all the same, had heaps of cable to spare as well, all looped around
