steering question

Made a quick steer for my fx1. It's just an extended metal plate. I am trying to adjust the steering to compensate for the steering nut being more out, but I can't figure out how to get the steering plate to hit the middle stopper on both sides, as well as keep the steering correct with the nozzle.

Any help appreciated.

Take off the plate you made. Problem solved.

You will break the cable if it bottoms first.

Turn the stopper sideways.

OK well I took my plate off, but can someone explain to me how to adjust the barrel adjusters on the plate and the nozzle?
