targa used to make a kit for the sc but not sure if they are still in business.5 1/4" speakers were mounted facing forward in front of engine comp.

You can see the 4 screws that hold the amp in the foot recess of the steering tower. I'm also slowly working on a speaker pod to go right in front of the steering wheel, to house a couple 3" speakers, so i can hear the stereo better while cruising. I've got a couple years on this setup with almost no issues.
