What can you say about current power of the ski? Wouldn't porting it be a wise decison? You pretty much have all the bolt ons...

What is the weight of your ski? (rEV)

if i dont go with a new motor then porting is a given..

the REV hull does weigh less than stock. but honestly its marginal, you cold lighten a stock hull and make it lighter, the difference with the REV is that its not a carbon copy of a superjet, its shorter and wider in the tray area, its more bouyant at the back because of this, i do find i get more height on jumps now, but you have to set it up otherwise you just go flat, also on nose stabs the extra width allows better rotation..

.. i know in Virginia Beach Surfersmurf tried out my ski and brought it back cos he couldnt stay on it... its alot more twitchy than a superjet, you alsomost feel top heavy stood on it and tend to do a lot of teh steering more so with the weight distribution on your legs

some one once said a REV was somewhere between a FX1 and a SXR, I would tend to agree somewhat... it has a unique riding style

you just put it into words like I have never been able to. thanks.

I always wondered why my friend was always so nose up. I couldn't ride it long enough to understand.

nice build.

so this weekend will probably be last ride of the year... snow is a-coming

thinking of de-foaming and adding drain valve/duck bill also want to add carbon kevlar to the engine bay for some extra strength

once i pull the motor out im sure ill find many more things to do.. after all.. winter in canada is long

bumping this for all those who has asked what prop i ran with a 148 mag with a 701

i have already shortened the pole by three inches since then.. doesnt ride so bad now in regards to the nose... but when you jump it wants to go vertical...

pump runs great,, had many people saying it was too big, my motor is pretty much stock with the normal bolt ons, head, b-pipe, enhancer, V force two reed, still running stock 38s

im running 8-15.5 prop
