Stock 155 pump or 148 Mag pump

Gathering parts for a freeride standup build, have a choice of using a Seadoo 155 pump or a Skat/seadoo 148 Mag pump. Both will need new impellers so not a issue. The ski will be in the 180-200hp range. I beleive the 148 will do a better job. Whats everyones take on the two pumps for this purpose. I see everyone shaking their heads, I know seadoo Iche. The budget is almost non existant, I will post a thread when its done. Simple question try to keep on point. Let -Ur Rip

Don't know why you would do that to a rickter but I vote 155.

May as well use the seadoo steering system too!

If it isn't a competition hull there is a good chance that the biggest pump that will fit is the 148. That, and nobody wants to buy a butchered Rickter.

155 stock pump ALL the way, no doubt.
Why not use a stock OEM Yamaha 155 mm pump? no modding needed, easy to source?

What motor are you running that's gonna make 200hp?

That pump is the one your looking for if your going oem style. Good luck.

The engine is a 1050. Running race gas. Thinking that I may only get 100hrs TBO. But that is OK by me. When it's done I will post the build.
