Stock bilge on a SJ is the little plastic 'box' down under the intermediate shaft bearing assembly at the rearmost position under the driveshaft. Hose attached to it, runs through the hull from it out to the pump.

by adding a bilge pump. will i need to remove the stocker ?

im assuming u leave it in, as when u add a bilge you drill the exit hole, why not run it out the back where the stock hole is ?? ?

keep the stock bilge - it's not hurting anything and it's nice to have a "backup" for when the aftermarket pump dies.

you can't really use the stock exit hole, since the water needs to exit above the waterline. the stock bilge works off a different type of principle (suction), so that's why it exits where it does.

Other good thing about an electric is you can watch the water come out and know when your bilge is dry. If you do repeated subs without emptying all the water it will build up and you'll swamp the motor.

As posted above, keep your stock bilge as backup. If you have scuppers AND electric you can ditch the stock since scuppers and stock have the same effect (only work when the ski is working). Only reasone to get rid of the stock is to run dual cooling lines and use the through-hull from the stock bilge to carry your second cooling line. Otherwise no reason to take it out.
