Actually now it sounds a little like your stator. This is Classic Stator failure behavior. Runs great til its hot then dies and is really hard to start and later won't start at all. You may want to test it. As for adjusting the Rear carb low adjuster, i always had to pull them unfortunately. Sluggish on the low end, Does your gas tank hold Pressure?

I was thinking the stator also after lots of research. Thinking about sending it off to be rebuilt. May even send the ebox too.

Your stator looks to have been redone already, the wires look like the ones that JSS use. the service manuals are under tech FAQ's gives you the Procedure and what the readings need to be. the PO had a Timing advance plate in it, you have to grind out some of the cover to get it to clear. That E box may be where your issue lies. Get the manual and test everything. Thanks Magyar68! Appreciate all the info and tips you've provided.

I'll take a look at the Ebox and see about testing the components there first. I'll let you know what I find out.
