Super Jet Stock F/A on Blackjack carb

Anyone fit a stock flame arrestor on a single Blackjack 46? Would like to see pics and two sentences on how to do it. Any help is very much appreciated!

I have "heard" that bjs prefer only round, blowsion air forces shape, ie. proks with flat top (no vortex shape). Hopefully not as my blowsions broke apart several times and I'm tired of fixing them. Can some chime in so I don't have to bother Art or Crammit ;)

take a standard 44 flame arrestor adapter. Flip it upside down and bolt it to the stock 44 FA. Connect the top of the black jack carb to the upside down FA adapter with a piece of 3 or 4 ply coupling hose (same blue stuff used on a b pipe, but smaller in diameter).

You can bore the inside of the aftermarket 44 FA adapter out for more air flow.

You can kinda see what I'm talking about here. Geoff (bluegtate) has done this a couple of times.

Art at Jetworks saw this when Geoff took his ski down to get power tuned and gave Geoff his blessing.

I have been running PROKs for 2 seasons now on my BlackJack 46s with no problems yet. I have seen the PROKS break as well, but only one time compared to the countless TauCettis and Blowsions that have come apart.

The only time I have seen pod style arrestors come apart is when the engine they are connected to is either out of tune, or has driveline vibration. I know the Prok's are notorious for it happening, but one of my mates and I fitted ProK's at the same time...I sold that ski with the same set, he had been through three sets at last count. Sometimes it's easy to blame the product. Yeah, they should be a bit more forgiving to real world conditions, but this is no perfect world!
