Flipping a bog stock SXR can be done easily. I've recently started riding one of a friends, and the first few took a little bit of effort, but once you work out where the power hits best, it's a walk in the park. When I say bog stock, I mean bog stock with the exception of foot holds.

one of the boys here in australia flips his sxr in 3ft surf and it just had footholds......... since then he has fitted a wet pipe but he was doing them with the stock exhaust

I have rolled a bog stock sxr with footholds in the surf and It was pretty hard to get the rotation. I found the power to weight ratio terrible so a decent set-up was out of the question cause I had to trade it for high speed and big air.

With any luck you will break the stock pole so you can have an excuse to replace it with a decent R/N Superjet pole.

A B flip is definately possible but you need to hit the wave LATE with pace.

Get some hoodstraps.
