I don't think insurance is possible. I called Progressive (they insure my Toyota boat) and tried to explain to them that I had a Wamilton's ski, with Lamey motor and wanted to insure it. Since it wasn't a bone stock Superjet they didn't want to touch it.
Does anyone actually have insurance on their $20,000 ski?

I am insured under my truck when its being towed. then I also have covered under home insurance policy as well.

you need to deal with insurance companies that do specialty insurance for collector cars, show cars, and hot rods and stuff like that. i know m buddy has his trailer and race car insured for an agreed uponn value if the car or trailer or both are stolen.... its a good piece of mind to have and worth it if you have a significant amount of money invest

i have been searching "allofthecraigslist.com" since this was originally posted hoping to catch these rotten bastards. :rant: I have been robbed so many times it hurts.
I even got jacked this past sunday and they shattered my freaking pass. window for no reason. Only took my bell helmet, full can of gan, gallon of oil, and $120cash from our pants in the car. Left the mp3 player, blackberry, another phone, and $50 in cash that happened to be in our front pockets. :ugh:
Criminals are not smart, they will be found, caught, and have their shoes filled w cement. I really hope this trailer is recovered.
