Super Jet Stripped/snapped bolts in exhaust ?

Can anyone tell me the size bolts that hold the exhaust onto the bracket that attached to the engine? Had one snap off yesterday and the others look stripped some. They had been backed out on me and I tightened them, seemed fine, rode ti a couple of times then one snapped off so I have to drill it out and go with the timesert or the helicoil I guess from my search online.

Anyone had this happen or used either of these products for stripped screws? Which is better? Any tips on getting the broken screw out?

Also, of the 3 bolts, it looks like one is slightly longer than the others, is that correct? Are they 10mm bolts?

Take it to a machine shop and get a quote before they do the work. I had 2 bolts snap off and they ended up having to drill them out and put in new threads. If you break off an ez-out they are going to charge you a whole lot more. ( I paid 30$ per bolt).

Thinking machine shop may be what I have to do....here is what I have. Can someone tell me if the bracket that mounts the exhaust has threads also, mine seems to but its hard to tell if they are so stripped out the bolt slides right thru or if its marks from them being loose. It seems like if the bracket and the exhaust had threads they would have to line up perfectly in order not to bind each other. IF both are threaded, would a helicoil work?

The bracket is not threaded.

lol, yes I know a pipe would be nice but they are around $400 bucks.......hopefully I can get this fixed for a lot less. Thanks for the info in the bracket.

I think its a 10 mm.

I'd use just the two bolts as long as it feels somewhat secure. As for the bracket, whenever you have a bolt with a shank it will not thread through the first piece.

If the shop wants more than $60 I will send you a whole exhaust for 60 shipped let me know.
