Im currently modding my my pole and need to strip a bunch of paint to do Fiberglass work. My question is what to use thAt won't mess up the fiberglass or factory eppoxy? I was thinking about trying jasco but am not sure. Has any one delt with this before? Any info or advice would be great thanks in advance

You can use airplane paint stripper BUT make sure when you get the paint off to wash throughly with soap and water. The stripper can be found at most auto parts stores.

i wouldn't use aircraft stripper... that stuff will soften the resin in one quick hurry... BUT... find an auto parts place that sells paint supplies and tell them you want a stripper that is fiberglass and smc safe... i know bulldog used to have one out and a few other companies also did... they're a bit slower but they work and don't bother the glass one bit... good old dual action with some 80 grit always does the trick too...

Henceforth the reason for washing off with soap and water."Stops the chemical reaction" l used it several times in years past on 550's.Never had an issue.................
