He works there...recently transferred from Houston to Canaveral.

Yeah, I just started working @ KSC. I'm not sure how the friends and family thing works yet......and it's already a loooong list :biggrin:

That was the 2nd best viewing I had. Saw it from a Chili's parkinglot. The night launch was by far the unbeatable best launch ever. I stood there and watched it for almost 8 minutes that night. Parr, any night launches in the future?:usa2::usa2::usa2::unitedstates: :unitedstates:

Not sure of the schedule yet, I'm still trying to find my way around. I think the next launch in August is a night launch???

I was at dissapearing Island about 50 miles away... Just sitting on a tidal Island, drinking a Tucher while watching my wife ride my standup... it was beautiful...

I've seen so many of them through the years and it always is amazing... I went to the first launch in 80 and I even saw the Challenger blow up when I was in Jr. High School... We watched it from the playground... I'll never forget that... So sad... It always makes me tense when the boosters go...

That was a picture perfect launch but from the main booster tank camera it appeared that a few tiles were missing from the bottom of the shuttle.

my favorite launch so far was at a ride in st augustine. watched from the beach and then went out to jump waves.

It's not the Atlantis it's the Endeavour. First time it's been up since 2002.

we watched it here in deland. heard the rumble too. about 5 minutes later.

I was there when the Challenger went POOF!

all of us were looking at each other saying. "it's not supposed to do that."

Tommy & I went down to see this......... Amazing!!!
This was the first launch of any type for me......
I have been waiting since I was like 10 years old to see one.
We were about 10 miles away....... unreal!
I was amazed how fast it climbed..............
Now if I could only hanness that type of power for a ski?????? :naughty:
