Super Jet Stubborn flywheel

How much torque do you usually apply to the flywheel puller when taking the flywheel off? I have a ton on my torque wrench and the flywheel is going nowhere fast.

Not much. Tighten the puller by hand fairly tight, heat the center for 30 seconds or so and tap the perimeter of the flywheel and it should pop off.

We always use a steering wheel puller. Tighten it by hand and hit it really quick with an impact and it comes off no problem. If its really stubborn hit it with a hammer and a little heat and it pops right off.

Hand tight with a wrench is all you're going to get with an HF steering wheel puller with the gas tank still installed on an fx1, maybe also a superjet. No room for a socket let alone impact.

That's how I've always done mine, don't have to remove anything.
