Stucker impeller, really stuck impeller

So, i wanted to take my impeller of, to repitch after a engine upgrade.
No biggie, has done it several times before. And always used aqua shield grease on the threads.
normally it require some heat, some muscle and maybe a wrench in the tail of the frist wrench - and the bang is releases.
This time though, didn't budge. So put more heat to the impeller nose 2 wrenches and all i had. Didn't move. It flexed a bit.
So now i took a 1.5meter pipe over the wrench and pulled. BANG - i thought impeller came off. Well no, my vice broke and the driveshaft had bent a tad :(

I ended up handing the pump setup to a machnist in Dk, who happens to be the one guy who does the best jetski work in DK, crank rebuild, custom work to cylinders and stuff. Bo is very skilled and a nice guy.
He tried more heat and couldn't it of either. So he ended up cutting my 18 hours old ST custom prop in pieces :(
The shaft was bend a bit, but he saved it, and straighten it out, so thats pretty nice :) Got the shaft within 2/10mm run out, at the splines of the shaft, while shaft is in the stator.

I use a 5' section of 1.5" Box Tubing as a cheater bar on the end of the shaft, stick a ratchet over the spline tool. Put my left foot on pump, slide the tube over the ratchet and put some even pressure on it. Pops right off........... That said, I have a SXR pump that nothing is getting that prop off............. short of a grinder.

Yeah, we tried 3 diffrent guys with 3 diffrent setups and diffrent heat sources. The last one, Bo who has done ALL kind of machine work and jetski work. he doomed it impossible to get off, with out cutting the prop. This time i used a lot of antisieze aluminum grease lol.
Next time, if its that hard to get off, i think we will have to custom fabricate a tool of metal, with ID of 19.7 or just below 20mm, split in 2 pieces, to clamp around the driveshaft just before the nose of impeller - so the shaft wont flex that much.

Skat driveshaft for me broke and had to cut off prop -__-

My H20 shaft hasn't let me down on multiple prop changes.

So what motor did you go to from your TPE900CO?

Does things to makes the do goods
I feel your pain my dude, i used this prop / shaft / bearings 1 ride...

Twisted 3 different prop tools before ultimately pipe wrenching the prop nose to death and bending the brand new shaft. Ended with lots of angle grinding and splitting with chisels.

It wasnt even my prop either lol sorry Rich...

Yeah, just to clarify. I used propane gas burner (normally works fine for me) and 1.5meter breaker bar on wrench. Didn't move.
Went to my auto mechanic buddy, who has an induction heater, 1.5meter bar again, and a air chisel on the wrench. didn't move
Bo from customski, who has done this 100 times. used oxyacetylene gas, and boltet everything down. Didn't move.
Bo was really surprised, when he cut the impeller, it suddenly gave a little pop, then spinned nice a freely off.
We though it had been cold welded. Gotta give my props to Bo, he saved the shaft, and only just touched two threads of the shaft and then go it straight again :)
It was a Skat trak thin blade cut back 8/16
Its a JetManiac shaft. But its OEM shaft cut down, i dont suspect the shaft. But i think i have used to little grease.
Feel you guys who been through the same.
Hope this never happens again! Just got a new more experience impeller lol.

Thats literally what I said.? Ive been running ET for the past two years.

Its like walking on eggshells around here...

Haha, I didn't mean to come off like that. I just know that some people have the impression that just because they're priced lower, they must not be as good. Which is definitely not the case.
