Stupid question: can I moor my new Superjet?

I’m just thinking out loud here, but because I ride 99% salt water, I would think that other than the obvious sink hazard, that corrosion would be your #1 enemy. Even fresh water has corrosive properties so leaving a ski in the water for extended periods of time isn’t a good idea. The bolts in the pump and hull inserts which have had extended water exposure can freeze up and worst case scenario can break in the hull inserts when they need to be removed. Believe me, you don’t want to go there. If you plan on any type of long term storage (long term being defined as longer than a week end) then I would go with one of the floating docks that have already been suggested

Scissor stand or floating dock. Do not leave a superjet in a wake zone unattended or it will be on the bottom when you get back. if it tips (very easy), they WILL sink, even the newest ones go down in a few minutes.

I would not trust one for an hour. Heck, mine has wamiltons scuppers that are almost 15 years old. 5 minutes tops!

This. I never turn my back to my ski while it's in the water.

Even with a completely stock ski. It's like putting a paper cup in a bathtub with an overly excited child splashing around and expecting it to stay upright and floating. I wouldn't risk it, that bitch WILL sink.
