subscribed threads

I haven't been receiving emails to my subscribed threads since the site was updated.

Any info?

I didn't get any for a couple PMs I had come in....I usually do. I haven't checked my settings though.

Are you subscribed with instant notification?

I've received 3 or 4 for this thread already, plus the one for it being started (I'm subscribed to the forum for new threads) and some pm's as well.

I know the server is sending e-mails.

Have you guys checked your junk mail folders? While they may have worked before, it's possible the update changed something in the e-mails so they are being flagged as spam now.

I have always been setup for instant email to subscribed threads. Nothing in my spam folder. I'll double check my settings although I have not changed anything that I know of.

Ok that just worked with gmail...

prior to this it did not work with hotmail and I checked junk mail too ? IDK why...Hmmm

No, because you wouldn't believe the number of people that reply to the e-mail instead of visiting the site to reply. So, I get the reply and either I delete it and they never know, then start posting "why aren't my posts showing up?", or I have to e-mail each person that they replied to the notification e-mail and have to visit the site to reply, which then they write me back then have to come here and type it all up again.

Been there, done that, takes up a lot of time. The same goes for pm notifications. I deal with this on another forum I run as well but it only happens maybe once/month because it's low traffic, so I've let it ride for now.

So for the people that aren't getting them, who hosts your e-mail? Don't post your whole e-mail, just the @sdfasdfa.com part.
