Super Jet Suggestions on lowered handle pole bracket for RN 04

Hey need suggestions on lower handle pole bracket for RN I will be getting a lowerd 24/7 hood and nose piece soon. wondering what good opions are out there or is it just as easy to make one, I know a few people that can fabricat? thanks

Blowsion lowered handlepole bracket on my 08 with their joe Kenney hood. Its a great piece and 1 hole for breather. Works great for stock handlepole. It is really low, you actually have to start putting in the pole bolt and the hex head won't clear the hull. At that point loosen the bracket bolts to clear. You can run a handlepole spring with it, and it has 2 bolt holes there where you can hook up their hood straps.

Been looking at that blowsion one gunna have to save some more money looks like lol. but I did get an awsome deal only 450.00 for hood, nose, and tubbies all painted so that helps. thanks agian!

So, can anyone explain the process of installation, and what advantage there is to this lowered handle pole bracket? I am having a hard time finding what exactly it does. I want to know if it moves forward, or just lowers the pole. I am thinking of moving my pole bracket 4 inches forward... It will take some glass work... So before I go cutting up a perfectly good super jet, I'm trying to gather as much info as I can to make an educated decision to move the bracket forward, or cut my pole 4 inches?

Cut the poll 4 inches......much less work

The lowered brackets mount in the same location, the poll pivot bolt centerline is moved closer to the hull "lower" to bring center of gravity closer to the tray. Some may also move the centerline a little forward too but now where near 4 inches.

People switch out the hood and noise piece for low profile ones, they are shorter so a lowered poll brackets makes it all match height wise too

ya, I saw the brackets they have are more for lowering, and not moving forward... Just a tad each way... Thanks for confirming no one has a real big jump forward! I'm worried about pivot point and leverage as far as moving it forward instead of chopping it.... Not concerned about how much work is involved, just as long as I get awesome results.... Sorry for thread jacking.... this thread can return to normal if no one else chimes in. = )
