FX-1 Sun rotting fx-1 :(

So there is a pretty clean fx1 sitting in a parking lot on a trailer. I want it. I left a note in a bag rubber banded to the tongue a few weeks ago saying Im interested in buying it. but neither the note nor the trailer has moved. Is it possible to find the owner by the HIN number and I could contact this person and make an offer? It appears to be neglected and I want to give it a good home.

have you asked the parking lot owner? maybe they have some info.... plates on the trailer?

In Texas you can do a tx number search online and find the owners address in minutes. Might see if you can find something like that

Its in a out of business go cart place/ameritel... No plates. I have done a google search with the number but nothing came up.

might want to call a law enforcement officer and have them run the HIN, or if the trailer has a VIN tag run that. For the HIN you would need to call a boating officer, for example in Pa that is an officer of the Pennsylvania fish and boat commission. A street cop won't know what to do with a HIN.

If it's in Idaho, last time I did it I went to the DMV and paid them $4 to get me the current owner, addy etc.
