my ski sunked few days ago.
i replaced the fuel and spark plugs.
i rode it for 4 gallons.
cleaned the carb.
it seems to run ok only that i have a small problem now- since it sunk the ski bogs and dies if i hit the throttle from idle to full open quickly.

did you clean out the water seporater on the vent line to the tank? sounds like you still have some water in the gas. you should also open up your ebox and check for moisture

the separator is the fuel filter?
the ebox is dry
i didnt check the reed valves because i dont have a gasket for it. it may be the prob?

I broke reeds before from sinking a sn and trying to start it. No one ever tells you to pull the intake with the spark plugs. Before you crank it over. Mine ran with the broken cage and petals. Just ran like crap. Got it back to the launch tho.

The gasket will most likely be reusable.

the waterseperator is on the front left of the hull by the waterbox. it attaches to a hose that goes up into the pole to vent the gas tank. it has a drain on it. its good practice to drain it before every ride.
