factory b
heavy ass solas mag
basically everything else stock

topped the scales at a whopping 163kg or 359lb RTR

Drill a tiny hole in the back and tip the ski up. If foam is wet, it will leak. 360 lbs. is it a SXR? Pulled 45lbs of wet foam out of my SJ last winter.

Sounds like a winter defoam project!!!

Lol I wish here in Africa we don't have winter breaks it's sunny all year around so we ride non-stop

I'm going to drill a hole and install 2x drains like the blasters have?

Not keen to de-foam at all rather just ride a heavy biaaatch until I can find a am hull that I can afford

I ride surf and flat water

I dont mind the weight so much just thought it was alil heavier than all my mates skis

Just going to use blaster drain plugs get as much water out as I can by gravity and then close up and try drain once a week or month

uh, hello, you have about a 3/4 tank of gas in there. Go weigh 3-4 gallons of gas and deduct that weight. be sure to weigh your gas can empty, subtract that weight.

Dry is 132kg max 18liters of fuel so with fuel 150kg

I'm sitting at 163
So that is still 13kg heavier

Factory b is lighter than stock or near same

Solas is alil heavier at 4kg so you can take off 2kg

So I'm sitting at 9kg over weight and that's if I had a full tank which I don't

So I reckon I got a few kg of water in the tray

Drilling a pilot hole in the morning if water comes out I'll stick a drain if it's dry like a nun I'll just seal upnthe hole

350 pounds is fine for a surf ski. my RN used to weigh in at that. I defoamed it but never weighed it again after that.

They handle better when they are heavier anyway. Lightweight hulls ride way different in the surf.
