Super Jet 701 Motor in my Krash hull? Anyone ever done it?

So my 2019 Krash 50 Cal motor blew to pieces and its just too expensive to rebuild. Its like $4800 in parts alone from Krash. I have a mint 2016 Superjet motor with like 6 hours on it that I want to install in the Krash 50 Cal hull. Has anyone here ever done it? Any suggestions or places to go to for reference? The motor mounts look like they are almost in the same spot. Box of Krash motor/carbs/pipes/electronics are available cheap!

I have a 701 in my Krash 50 Cal. Everything bolts right up.

To be honest a 701 is probably the standard setup in those hulls. Have heard nothing but bad things about Krash engines and electronics

If its the rtr version of their ski its not a bolt in motor change.....Adapters for the motor mounts have to be made. Those two retards on YT....jetski brothers .....I think it is did just this. Theres a couple good points and info he brings up if you can get thru the 20 minutes of babbling bullpoop spewing from his c-holster.

Mine has a 701. Its older didn’t come with the kv. Its got plates bolted in with the motor mounts bolted to it.

You should use SJ mounts for proper height.lf have a set,if you need some.

well this is awesome! The out put shaft crush drive off the Krash motor is a direct bolt on to the Yamaha crank shaft output. One major hurdle over come.

I can get a photo of the mounts. They are just aluminum plates with the sj mounts mounted to them
