Super jet and blaster driveshafts

This is my first time commenting so not sure how it works on x. Been a long time reader though. Anyways I need a B1 shaft. Not sure if you can pm since I haven’t commented before so let me know what to do lol!
 
The OEM sj and blaster shafts are made in 3 pieces. I know the spline end is made with more steel and less stainless so it's harder and less prone to wear. You cut couch shafts down and respline. Are the spline ends of couch shafts harder than the area that you respline or is it the same material back to the prop threads? Couch shafts are the same diameter spline to prop threads where as sj is thinner in the middle. Dead giveaway on oem versus aftermarket. AM are junk butter shafts that last 2 seconds under power. Oem shafts are 450$ new so 140$ for these is a smokin deal

Sorry, I don't want to derail sj762's for sale thread. I will first say that this seller and the machining company are legit.

The OEM sj and blaster shafts are made in 3 pieces.
You are partially correct on the sj shafts. You are wrong on the blaster shafts, and partially correct on couch shafts.

Correct -'90-07 OEM SJ shafts (and FX1) are all Tapered shafts, so they are made from 3 separate pieces which are all machined separately, and then fusion welded together. You can see the weld behind the splines where the shaft necks down, and the other weld is in just front of the threads for prop.

Incorrect - '08-20 OEM SJ shafts are all NON-Tapered shafts(like a couch), so since the spline end of driveshaft is all a constant diameter, they are only made from 2 separate pieces which are all machined separately, and then fusion welded together. You can see the weld is in just front of the threads for the prop.

Incorrect - '93-96 OEM B1 and 96-97 OEM B2 shafts are all NON-Tapered shafts(like a couch), so since the spline end of driveshaft is all a constant diameter, they are only made from 2 separate pieces which are all machined separately, and then fusion welded together. You can see the weld is in just front of the threads for the prop.

Correct - While most OEM Yami 2 stroke couch driveshafts are all 2 piece driveshafts like Blasters, there are some models which have extra hardened splines which are machined separately using different steel. So are not tapered, but have the extra weld beside the splines.

Like i said I didn't read any of his novel. All I saw was true and false. This guy follows me around like a dog and tags me every time I make a general comment and thinks he's correcting me. I am a character and IDGAF anymore. I know what I know and I shouldn't even offer any of what I know to fux that dont appreciate it or listen. Obviously you're still on the neen to learn boat.
